Funding is the periodic payment exchanged between long and short perpetual positions. Use current and annualized rates as carry-cost and crowding context, not as an arbitrage instruction or a prediction of future returns.
Source and availability
HypeBasis reads public Hyperliquid perpetual-market contexts and calculates display estimates from the reported hourly funding rate. Values can be delayed, partial, stale, or unavailable; verify the timestamp and source state before using them.
